Alexander Rothschild

Page history last edited by Paradox 14 years, 5 months ago

Alexander Rothschild was the only son of Rolland and Mary Rothschild, Rolland was a travelling Merchant from The Confederacy Isles. When Alex was only eight his father was killed by pirates in a raid, his father had recently left a valuable cargo at home and the Pirates found a record of this. They came to his home, raped and murdered Alexander’s mother in front of his eyes. Alexander flew into a rage, grabbing a pistol and shooting the pirate responsible, grabbing a cutlass he killed the other pirates, driven by his rage but being severally injured in the process. Still blinded by rage he staggered out into the port town where he collapsed.

He awoke several days later to find himself in a lavish room, greeted by a shady man in black he offered him a chance at revenge against the entire pirate group responsible, in exchange Alexander should work for his group of assassins. He accepted the offer and began his training. They travelled to Avalon where the group was based.

Twelve years later Alexander had become renowned as a sharpshooter, though not as adept in stealth techniques he has used his sharpshooting to his advantage in replacement, he also has displayed some aptitude for explosives. During his training it became evident that he experienced periods of psychosis without a trigger. Climaxing in his slaughtering of the entire group of assassins when the leader refused to allow him to take an assignment.

Alexander traveled the shards (Avoiding Avalon) offering his services to the highest bidder, with little care of what the contract is. There were rumours that he has killed some of his employers, perhaps due to his psychotic episodes, though there has been no connection between the deaths and him. Though he is prone to these psychotic episodes he has shown the capacity for guile and cunning.

He rarely drank alcohol and was especially attached to the pistol he used, taken from the pirates who killed his parents, he made sure it is always in working condition, and could be found cleaning, polishing or just holding it at all times.

He was eventualy revealed to be the son of one of the wildslayers, which threw him into great confusion about his life. He was blessed by the Lady of the Lake and became a member of the New Brotherhood of Souls. He fought in many conflicts in an effort to attone for his past, helping his brothers.

He eventualy found redemption in the Catacombs of Carnelium, sacrificing his own life to end the life of the evil advisary of the Brotherhood, Craven.
