Little is known of this young Fae (it has been discovered he is still in his first century).

He appeared in the middle of a battle between the undead of Thorn Castle, and the Union Army, ending up with a group of medics, who ultimately were to join those who entered that cursed place.

Finnlay speaks very little of the common tongue, making it difficult for both him to understand others and others to understand him. A few of the Fae took time to talk to him in Thorn Castle, and as a result it has been realised that Finnlay is a more than competent healer (how competent has yet to be seen, although he shows skill with both magic and needle), although he heals only those who wear the charms that indicate they have been accepted into his clan. As a follower of Danu, the Fae seem to have accepted him, and he has accepted them in return.

As for what Finnlay was doing on the battlefield, and what he intends to do now, nobody really knows. Although for the time being he seems content to stay and help his new found friends.
