Tristan Hatfield

[This background is for the current version of Tristan, who came into being during a storm that re-wrote reality – Event: The Wanderers]

Tristan was born of a Human Man and a Water Elemental Woman. His father left when he was very young; consequently Tristan has no memory of him. His mother gave birth to him on Union where she raised him. She was killed in 0AU when the shards collided, Tristan was 7 at the time, and he then spent the following 12 years in isolation on union.

While growing up his link to Time was evident, and at a very young age he had a firm grip on the basics of Horology. He was always fascinated with time and as he learnt more about it he developed a hunger for knowledge that has driven him to this day, an ambition that is the only thing that helps him push past his natural laziness, and without motivation he would often not bother doing anything.

He has since left Isolation and started travelling the world in search for greater power. He found himself lost and alone in the world and ended up at Fort William, where he first encountered the Wanderers. There he was caught up in the Sauron invasion but thankfully made it through the portal to Archipelago before the portal was sealed.

While in Archipelago he heard of the Horologists guild, a group that teach Horology. An obvious choice for attaining power Tristan consulted a Guild representative at a technology auction in Archipelago and was soon taken into the guild.

During his time since isolation he has been present in a number of battles, Including the battle of the wall in faerie, and the second battle of Fort William. He has also been present at many key events throughout the world.

After being summoned to a house in Faerie he is now a member ofThe Brotherhood of Soulsand a member of the Seaborne Aliance. He is also a researcher at theInstitute of Curiosities.

 He can be very naïve at times, and due to his Isolation has much to learn about the world, its History and its Cultures, however in the years since his isolation ended he has found out many terrible things about the world, fuelling his intolerance of evil acts, in particular slavery.

Recently he has been focusing on several issues, primarily the enslavement of Elementals in Dust and finding a way to stop the Horror Taint.

He has also been developing his True Form as a Water Elemental.

Recently during a reality storm Tristan learned that he had been Reality Woven into his current state, and was originally a Mage of the Potters Guild, but that his entire history was re-written during the storm.
