Mostly residing on Faerie, the Clan McUen are oft found associated yet, in truth, independent of the Courts. The McUen Clan are mostly a human group governed by their Laird, a previously non-hereditary position, allocated now by the Laird to the chosen offspring. 

This warlike clan, reminiscent of the Celtic peoples of Earth, prefer to spend their time in a group, creating a formidable fighting force when the alarm is raised.

Traditionally, the McUens have been the enemy of the Fomorii, due to the rivalry between their Goddess Danu and that of the Fomorii Goddess Domnu. However, when Danu chose to give up her Godhood for the love of their Laird, Caffrey, and then was captured and slain, the war still runs strong in their blood.

There was a brief waver in history when one of the McUens had been wed to the daughter of Queen Madb, but anger is a hard thing to shake.

Currently, the McUens are turning their attentions to returning Danu's gaze back to the clan. Through sacrifices (even involving their own clan members) to the Morrigan, they hope to catch the attention of the Queen of Crows.
