not long ago Incidents occurred at Toku Monastery located near the disputed portal between the shogunate and the sanctuary, during this the Incredible wang had called for the aid of the wanderers. The specifics of what occurred there is
unknown, however, it is reported that many minor kami were lost in the events as well as two greater kami, including the loss Ryujins the great ocean dragons son and the Great white tiger, leader of the animal kami and heavens slayer, Inari Okami has since
taken up the position left by the great white tiger though the dragon Ryujin still remains in mourning following the loss of his son.
Currently, Toku monastery has been claimed to fall under the protection of the Golden vampire, yet despite this, the monastery has been raided for artifacts by forces unknown, one of these artifacts has been since been retrieved however the location of the other still
remains unknown.

The War between the shogunate and sanctuary continues to rage on with a bloody vengeance.

Having gotten off to a strong start the shogunate has wiped out the major ports of sanctuary in a series of brutal naval engagements, one led by Lord Mori and another led by lord Chosokabe.

The Shogunate was also able to strike a blow through Tianshan Forest directly to the city of Guntai, sanctuaries head branch for there military.
However, Sanctuary forces were able to hold off the shogunate siege with a series of powerful and intimidating defenses and managed to regather and reorganize their forces throughout the winter.
Oddly slow to start truly engaging in the war the Sanctuary has managed to break the siege of Guntai and chase off shogunate forces, the display was of such violence and brutality that the celestial tigers
intervened on the shogunates side to prevent sanctuary wiping out the wounded and noncombatants before they could quit the field. Much of this success has been put to the sanctuaries general and superior strategies
however they have once again shown that their forces are not to be lightly trifled with.
Another victory was struck for sanctuary when they managed to successfully corner lord Chosokabes fleet against their remaining fleet and the powerful sea defenses of Busan with little chance to flee, a nightmare scenario for any
naval commander.
