The Corrupted Fire

Exactly what this entity is is a mystery, but recently it has started to make its presence felt. The Corrupted Fire exists on the Dreaming, particularly in the area of the Dreaming associated with Dust, though it has been noted as spreading further. There have been several incidents observed where it was able to possess Dreaming entities such as Totem Spirits, forcing them into its control. Less frequently are rumours that it has occasionally managed to possess bodies to interact with the physical world.

Where the Corrupted Fire came from, or even when it first manifested, is hard to determine, as what information has been gathered is fragmented and often contradictory. It is fairly certain that it has been active since the Joining, but anything beyond that is impossible to be sure of.

Recently it tried to control the three Fates and turn the world to it's Will. However thanks to the Wanderer's the fates were freed, and the power of the Corrupted Fire is diminished, but not yet gone...
