Scout Rat is a supreme tracker, a legacy of her Tribe's policy of having members do only one job their entire lives. Joining up with the adventurers from other Shard lands put her into the path of many different people and ways of thinking, not all have turned out so well for her. A near fatal stabbing triggered an aquatic heritage that had never presented itself previously, she has not been seen for some time. Possibly a significant detail that was discovered soon before she dissapeared was that her dead husband, Colours of Autumn Bark, was the brother of Chance Under Starlight - separated as babies - and that her children are the grandchildren of the Dust Sorcerer Khaldun Al-Fulani. For the safety of her children and a third brother still alive she has tried to keep herself away from Al-Fulani.
