Nicolai Vitelli, Castellan

Husband to Caroline Medici (1811).

Even as a member of the prestigious Vitelli family, Nicolai has done well to have reached the rank of Castellan in the Salem Militia by the age of 26. He distinguished himself during the Florence riots in 1808, by suggesting that an inward-facing wooden battlement could be built on the city wall, allowing the towers to be used as staging points for a suppressing force of militiamen. Recently requested transfer to a more active role in the Salem Civil War but unfortunately landed a brief stint in the Office of Theurgy instead. Following the formation of the United Church, Vitelli has formed a private army to guard the approach to Avalon across the Land Bridge. He now resides in a fortified Tin Mine called "Eagles Point" on the Land Bridge itself.

Nicolais greatest hatred is of vampires. He has had the dubious honour of being personally staked by a member of the Council of Thirteen.
