Merlin is a powerful Immortal Mage and former High Mage of Faerie.

He says many things, though which are true is questionable, though one thing is certain, this being is immensely powerful and mysterious.

He rarely takes action himself, rather he encourages people to think for themselves, however his behaviour is odd and highly quirky, taking interest in seemingly random things.

Though he occasionally dies he has never the less come back many times.
