Khaldun Al-Fulani, son of Salah Al-Fulani, was once one of the Dust Magi, who was an expert in manipulating mind and body, using his skills as a healer. However, at some point something changed in him. It is believed that the murder of his sister, an act that happened in front of him yet was unable to stop, caused him to become obssessed with gaining mastery over life and death. He stole dark knowledge from the Magi and started experimenting on living people, and was exiled from the Magi.

Recently, his influence has began to have a greater effect on Dust. He has captured land and various settlements in what appears to be some sort of search, he has attempted to unleash a destructive earth elemental to cause havoc, and has raised a large army of animated corpses to surround the Thousand Tears of Nia, apparently to restrict entry into Dust through the portal.

He is known to have three sons, of which one is dead, one is hidden, and one is working to oppose him. He is known to have an army of birds which have been given the ability to switch back and forth between their original form and a human one. He is also believed to have links to the corrupted Fire entity in the Dreaming.
