Darathior

Darathior hails from the Silver City, a metaphysical conjunction point on a mountain top in Frontier. An outlier, bordering an outcast, a Darkling in a city of Spirits. Being sent out into the material world to counter Thule users of Void magics wherever Miranda might encounter them was a chance to really explore his capabilities.

His natural affinity for shadows, darkness, portals and sharp implement based violence found an easy home with the Wanderers as a skirmisher with some added depth. A simple existence was quickly ruled out when he chose to host the soul of Lancelot during the genesis of a new cycle of the Brotherhood of Souls. An odd choice of host for a multiply reincarnated hero of story perhaps but a swift, keen blade in the darkness will sometimes achieve more than an army taking to the battlefield ever could.

On Darathior’s left hip hangs a Silver Sabre, the signature weapon that marks him out as a member of the elite, hunting society the Silver Sabres. This singularly superb weapon was created by his friend and master smith, Angel. He was also recruited by Daniel Carver himself into the pointedly respected Guild of Carvers.

Darathior also revels in the long-standing Darkling tradition of acquiring other people’s hats and greatly improving them by wearing them himself. Occasionally he will even enhance a select individual’s existence by gifting them a pre-improved hat, irrespective of whether that individual is already wearing a hat. Recipients of this great honour include the Sorcerer Supreme.

Darathior’s Giggle Bladder is currently a free agent after a non-consensual attempted vivisection some years ago. Attempts to inflate it and introduce it as a Formori substitute in games of McUen Murderball have met with limited success.
